Our client is seeking a proactive and highly organised Clinical Administrator to join their team in Warrington on a part-time, temp-to-perm basis (three days per week). This role will initially be offered on a temporary basis at £13 per hour, with the view to transitioning into a permanent position at £26,000 FTE (£15,600 actual salary).
The Clinical Administrator will provide vital administrative support to the Medical Director and the wider medical team, ensuring the smooth running of the department, coordinating training placements, and offering flexible administrative cover across clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
Medical Director Support
- Provide full administrative support to the Medical Director, including diary management, correspondence, minute taking, and preparation of reports, agendas, and presentations.
- Manage timesheets, expenses, course bookings, and holiday records in line with organisational protocols.
- Co-ordinate internal and external meetings, including medical rotas, appraisals, and supervision sessions.
- Liaise with external partners and agencies to ensure documentation for medical appraisals, revalidation, and consultant on-call cover is managed effectively.
- Support with logging and tracking Caldicott Guardian-related issues and queries.
- Organise occasional business travel and accommodation.
Medical Placements Support
- Administer and co-ordinate the medical placements programme, including inductions for medical students, GPSTs, and shadowing arrangements with clinical teams.
- Act as a point of contact for trainees and external stakeholders, ensuring smooth placement experiences.
Administration & Departmental Support
- Provide cover and additional administrative support across clinical services when required.
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems, and compliance with GDPR and information governance standards.
- Communicate effectively and empathetically with colleagues, healthcare professionals, patients, and families.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in an administrative or medical support role, ideally within a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Strong organisational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence liaising at all levels.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with healthcare systems (such as SystmOne) is desirable.
