With an ambitious acquisition strategy and a rapidly expanding portfolio, we’re looking for an exceptional Senior Executive Assistant to become the Founder’s right hand.
You’ll be a trusted business partner who combines elite organisational skills with commercial awareness, helping the Founder operate at maximum effectiveness while driving the front end of our acquisitions pipeline. You’ll manage priorities, coordinate stakeholders, protect the Founder’s time, and ensure a steady flow of qualified acquisition opportunities reaches the table. Senior Executive Assistant to Founder
Location: South Manchester (Hybrid – 2 days office / 3 days home)
Salary: £45,000 basic + performance and pipeline bonus (OTE £60,000)
Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week)

As Senior Executive Assistant to the Founder, you will serve as the operational hub of the business. You’ll oversee executive administration, manage communications, coordinate key projects, and support acquisition sourcing activities.
You won’t negotiate or execute transactions, but you will play a critical role in identifying, screening, qualifying, and progressing acquisition opportunities through the pipeline. For the right person, this role offers significant exposure to entrepreneurship, business acquisitions, investment strategy, and company growth.
Key Responsibilities
Executive Support to Founder
- Full ownership of the Founder’s and additional Director’s diary, inbox, travel arrangements and meeting coordination.
- Act as gatekeeper, ensuring the Founder remains focused on high-value activities.
- Prepare agendas, briefing documents, reports, presentations and meeting materials.
- Track actions and deliverables, ensuring accountability across the business.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Founder.
- Manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Support with expenses, supplier management, purchasing, gifting, and general administration.
- Anticipate challenges before they arise and proactively solve problems.
M&A Pipeline & Deal Origination Support
- Build and maintain target company databases.
- Conduct outbound outreach campaigns to business owners and intermediaries.
- Prepare and manage acquisition mailshots and follow-up communications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with brokers, advisers and introducers.
- Conduct initial qualification and screening calls with prospective sellers.
- Manage CRM and acquisition pipeline systems, ensuring accurate reporting.
- Schedule meetings, second-stage calls, and site visits for the Founder.
- Keep opportunities progressing through the funnel with consistent follow-up.
- Gather information and prepare summary briefs on potential acquisitions
- Ensure smooth handover of qualified opportunities into the transaction process
Business Operations & Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies and implement improved systems and workflows.
- Create and maintain operational processes, templates, and reporting tools.
- Improve communication rhythms, meeting structures, and accountability systems.
- Help build scalable infrastructure to support continued business growth.
- Act as a trusted sounding board and operational partner to the Founder.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Senior Executive Assistant, Executive PA, Chief of Staff Assistant, or Operations Support professional
- Experience supporting a founder, CEO, director, or senior leadership team
- Outstanding organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Advanced Microsoft Office / Microsoft 365 skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Desirable
- Exposure to M&A, private equity, investment, business sales, or acquisitions environments
- Experience managing CRM systems and sales pipelines
- Experience supporting multiple companies or business entities
- Background in professional services, financial services, consulting, or entrepreneurial businesses
- Familiarity with outreach, lead generation, or business development activities
