Role Overview
The Team Assistant will play a critical role in supporting a busy team of consultants, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and enabling the team to focus on high-value client and candidate work. The ideal candidate will be highly proactive, detail-oriented, confident and eager to develop, with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a demanding yet rewarding setting.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Operational Support
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to a team of recruitment consultants.
- Manage calendars, coordinate meetings, and organise internal and external appointments.
- Prepare documents, presentations, reports, and correspondence to a high standard.
- Assist with formatting CVs, candidate profiles, and pitch materials.
- Maintain internal databases and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Process & Workflow Management
- Support the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, including interview coordination and candidate communication.
- Track recruitment activity and maintain up-to-date pipeline information.
- Liaise with clients and candidates professionally and promptly.
Office & Team Coordination
- Ensure smooth day-to-day running of the London office on office-based days.
- Assist with travel arrangements, event scheduling, and team logistics.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.
Skills & Experience Required
- Prior experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role (professional services, financial services, or recruitment exposure a bonus).
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and willingness to take initiative.
- High levels of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable learning new systems.
