Our client, is a not-for-profit organisation working to advance environmental professionalism and support high standards across the environmental sector. They collaborate with partners, members and stakeholders to promote excellence, ethics and sustainability. They are seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant / Office Manager to provide administrative, operational and executive support to senior leadership. This is a remote role requiring excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support
- Provide high-quality administrative support to senior leadership namely the Founder
- Manage calendars, meetings and scheduling across multiple stakeholders
- Prepare agendas, take minutes and track actions for board and committee meetings
- Handle correspondence, inbox management and document preparation
- Working on Ops projects when required.
Office & Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day administrative operations in a remote-working environment
- Maintain accurate records, filing systems and shared drives
- Support HR administration, including onboarding, contracts and policy management
- Coordinate suppliers, service providers and subscriptions
- Assist with budgeting, expense tracking and invoicing support
Governance & Compliance Support
- Support governance processes, including board meetings and reporting
- Ensure policies, procedures, and statutory documents are kept up to date
- Assist with compliance requirements appropriate to a UK not-for-profit
Communications & Coordination
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external enquiries
- Support internal communications and coordination across teams and partners
- Assist with event administration (virtual and occasional in-person)
Person Specification
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager or similar role
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of discretion and professionalism
- Confident using digital tools (Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace, Zoom, Teams, etc.)
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Desirable
- Experience supporting at senior level in a not-for-profit, membership body, environmental organisation or corporate blue chip establishment
- Understanding of governance and board support
- Experience supporting senior executives or trustees
- Interest in environmental or sustainability issues
