Executive Assistant to Commercial Director
Location: Leicester (Office-Based, 5 Days per Week)
Salary: £45,000 per annum

The Role
They are seeking a highly organised, proactive and commercially aware Executive Assistant to support their busy Commercial Director. This is a new, pivotal role requiring discretion, attention to detail and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
You will act as a trusted right-hand to the Commercial Director, with some support also to the FD and Sales Director when required, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, effective communication across departments and efficient coordination of strategic and commercial initiatives.
This is a fully office-based role (to begin with) in Leicester, five days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive diary management, prioritising meetings and commitments.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including preparation of agendas, papers and follow-up actions.
- Liaising at Board level.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and commercial documentation to a high standard.
- Act as a key liaison between the Commercial Director and senior management, branch managers, suppliers, and external partners.
- Manage confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Track and follow up on commercial projects, supplier negotiations, and key business initiatives.
- Organise travel, accommodation, and itineraries as required.
- Support board-level reporting and assist with strategic planning documentation.
- Handle correspondence, screening calls and emails on behalf of the Commercial Director, Financial Director and Sales Director.
- Assist with event coordination, supplier meetings and trade events.
About You
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a senior executive (ideally within construction, retail or a multi-site commercial environment)
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of professionalism and discretion.
- Ability to prioritise effectively and work under pressure.
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
