Our client is seeking an experienced and highly capable Executive Business Partner to provide strategic and operational support to our National Managing Director and Operations Director. This pivotal role acts as a bridge between senior leadership and the wider operational business, ensuring strategic priorities are effectively communicated, understood and delivered across the organisation.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business planning, governance, reporting, and leadership effectiveness while driving alignment between strategic objectives and operational execution.
Executive Business Partner
Location: Manchester City Centre (4 days office-based, 1 day working from home)
Salary: £65,000 per annum
Reporting to: National Managing Director and Operations Director
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Support & Business Management
- Support the National Managing Director and Operations Director in delivering strategic priorities across the business.
- Contribute to business planning cycles, ensuring operational activity aligns with organisational objectives.
- Analyse business data and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, governance, and business processes.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of key strategic initiatives.
Senior Leadership Team (SLT) Coordination
- Attend Senior Leadership Team meetings and oversee the preparation of:
- Agendas
- Meeting packs
- Minutes and action logs
- Ensure actions are tracked effectively and accountability is maintained across the leadership team.
- Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and briefing materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate leadership communications and follow-up activities.
Communication & Engagement
- Translate strategic discussions and decisions into clear, concise communications for operational teams.
- Develop and manage structured communication plans to cascade key messages and business priorities.
- Ensure consistency and clarity of messaging across all operational functions.
- Act as a trusted point of contact for operational leaders seeking clarification on strategic direction and priorities.
Operational Alignment
- Work closely with operational leaders to support understanding and delivery of business priorities.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and initiatives, ensuring deadlines and reporting requirements are met.
- Monitor progress against strategic objectives and escalate risks or issues where appropriate.
- Foster collaboration across departments to ensure successful implementation of key initiatives.
Group Reporting & Governance
- Coordinate group-level reporting requirements, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
- Collate, analyse, and present performance data across:
- Operational performance
- Financial metrics
- Health & Safety
- Key business KPIs
- Support governance and compliance activities, including Health & Safety, Modern Slavery, and other corporate reporting requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and data quality standards.
Line Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a central Personal Assistant, supporting their professional growth and performance.
- Identify development opportunities and training needs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Proven experience in a senior business support, executive business partner, chief of staff, or C-suite executive support role.
- Experience supporting senior executives and board-level stakeholders.
- Ability to operate confidently at both strategic and operational levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex information.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities with experience interpreting business performance data.
- Outstanding organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.

- Experience within a multi-site operational business.
