Our client, a successful and well-established family-run hospitality business based in North Manchester, is seeking a highly organised, professional, and proactive Personal Assistant to support the Managing Director. The Role
This is a varied and fast-paced role supporting the Managing Director in all aspects of their day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will act as a trusted point of contact, ensuring the smooth running of both business and administrative matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including proactive diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements.
- Act as the first point of contact between the Managing Director and internal/external stakeholders, handling all correspondence professionally.
- Draft, format, and proofread confidential documents to a high standard.
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action points.
- Arrange complex travel and accommodation for the Managing Director and senior team members.
- Maintain confidentiality at all times and handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
- Oversee office organisation, including office supplies and workspace management.
- Support on ad-hoc projects and assist in planning internal events and conferences.
About You
- Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar administrative role, ideally within the hospitality sector.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Able to work autonomously, prioritise effectively, and remain composed under pressure.
- Demonstrates discretion, professionalism, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Flexible and adaptable, with a collaborative mindset.
