Private Personal Assistant (Experienced)
Location: Remote (UK-based) with occasional travel to London and Dorset
Salary: Up to £70,000 per annum (DOE)
Contract: Full-time, permanent
Overview
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Personal Assistant to support an Ultra High Net Worth Individual (UHNWI) and their family. This is a predominantly remote role, requiring a highly organised, discreet and proactive individual who is comfortable managing complex private affairs with minimal oversight.
The successful candidate will be a trusted gatekeeper, capable of operating at pace, anticipating needs, and delivering seamless support across both personal and lifestyle matters. Periodic travel to London and Dorset will be required.
Key Responsibilities
Private & Lifestyle Management
- Comprehensive diary and schedule management across multiple time zones
- End-to-end travel coordination (commercial and private), including visas, itineraries, accommodation and ground transport
- Oversight of properties, including maintenance schedules, contractors, household staff coordination and refurbishments
- Management of family logistics, events and special occasions
Administrative & Operational Support
- Acting as the primary point of contact for trusted advisors (legal, financial, tax, security)
- Handling sensitive correspondence with absolute confidentiality
- Document management, filing systems and record keeping
- Preparation of reports, summaries and briefing documents as required
Financial & Personal Affairs
- Assistance with personal expenditure tracking and invoice management
- Liaising with accountants and family office representatives
- Managing memberships, insurance renewals, and subscriptions
Ad Hoc Support
- Problem-solving at short notice and responding calmly to changing priorities
- Supporting ad hoc projects as required by the Principal and family
Candidate Profile
Essential
- Minimum 5–7 years’ experience as a Private PA supporting a UHNWI or HNW family
- Proven ability to work remotely with high levels of autonomy
- Exceptionally organised, detail-oriented and forward-thinking
- Absolute discretion and integrity; comfortable handling confidential matters
- Strong communication skills and a polished, professional manner
- Flexible attitude to working hours and availability
- Willingness and ability to travel to London and Dorset
Desirable
- Experience working with family offices
- Background in luxury, private households, or high-pressure environments
- Advanced IT skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and relevant PA tools)
