Lily Loves: WorkLife

Here at Lily Shippen we are passionate about adding value, not just for our candidates and clients, but for the business support community as a whole and, as such, we have decided to run a series of blogs titled ‘Lily Loves’. OpenMoney started out around 4 years ago, with the aim of providing financial advice and guidance, whilst allowing individuals to take control of their money, build up their savings and invest in their future. The business has been incredibly successful and won Best Newcomer at the British Bank Awards in 2019 and has also been featured in Vogue and on the likes of BBC Radio 4. Following the continued success of OpenMoney, WorkLife was the next OpenMoney Group project which came about in 2019 and was officially launched during lockdown.

WorkLife’s aim is to democratise employee benefits for businesses, regardless of their size, so that any business can access employee benefits that support their team members with everything from finances to wellbeing. WorkLife offer a low-cost and flexible platform with all the benefits that your staff need, whilst also hopefully helping to improve and increase attraction of future employees and retention of those employees already in place.

In addition to this, everything has been made as simple as possible, meaning that it is easy to set up, easy for your employees to use and easy to change the package to suit your needs at any time!

With no hidden costs or charges and just one monthly fee, you can choose the benefits that work for your business and your employees. The service is also completely flexible, so you can add or remove a package at any point.

With regards to pricing, it is extremely affordable and WorkLife are currently offering the core benefits package to new clients for free for the rest of 2020. As of January 2021, the core benefits listed above are £2.00 per employee per month plus VAT. However, if the core package doesn’t quite fit the bill, there are also a range of additional benefits (as listed above) that can be added to your package at an extra cost, as well as a bespoke option that includes custom benefits and branding.

Once you have been set up on the system, each employee has their own unique portal and log in, so that they can review and learn more about the benefits on offer. The portal is extremely straightforward and very easy to use, even for those that aren’t the most tech savvy!

WorkLife have three core values within their business that they live and breathe: campaigning for better, transparency and keeping things simple. We have to admit, since joining WorkLife ourselves last month, they very much live up to their values! We have been very impressed with the service we have received and, being a small business, there was certainly a gap in the market for an offering like this.
