Matt Gregson
Managing Director
Matt joined Lily Shippen in 2024 and was appointed Managing Director in March 2026, a recognition of the strategic and operational leadership he has brought to the business in a short space of time.
As MD, Matt leads the overall direction of Lily Shippen, focusing on business growth, brand development, and the strategic decisions that shape where the agency is heading. While not a recruiter himself, he brings a clear commercial perspective to how the business operates, ensuring Lily Shippen continues to grow its reputation as a UK leading boutique specialist in EA, PA, Chief of Staff, and wider Business Support and HR recruitment.
Before joining Lily Shippen, Matt spent over five years in education, where he developed a sharp understanding of leadership, organisational performance, and how to build environments where people do their best work. That foundation informs how he thinks about the business, the market, and the long-term positioning of the Lily Shippen brand.
Matt is a strong advocate for the strategic value of the EA, PA, and Chief of Staff profession, and is committed to raising the standard of how these roles are recruited for, represented, and valued across UK businesses.
Under his leadership, Lily Shippen remains committed to doing recruitment differently: boutique in approach, uncompromising in quality, and genuinely invested in the outcomes for both the businesses and the professionals it works with.
