We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Assistant to support a busy Founder and CEO. This is a brand-new role in a growing business where you will work closely with the CEO, providing high level support in both a business and personal capacity.

This is an amazing opportunity to join an exciting business that is making real waves in their industry, during an exciting period of growth.

You will be predominantly based out of the stunning offices in Media City (moving to Manchester City Centre later in the year) and on occasion the CEO’s home in Cheshire. This is a hybrid role in line with business needs.  

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Extensive diary and email management, successfully coordinating the workload and managing priorities of the CEO
  • Providing diverse secretarial and administrative support to the CEO, direct reports and wider team
  • Liaising closely with key stakeholders and dealing with sensitive and confidential information
  • Organising various meetings, taking minutes and actions
  • Handling email and telephone enquiries from various stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Arranging business and personal travel, including flights, transportation, and accommodation
  • Overseeing household staff and liaising with contractors and external agencies, managing and following up on tasks
  • Project management, overseeing upcoming office move
  • Organising events
  • Property management, Principal has property in Spain, acting as a point of contact
  • Running personal errands (including dog sitting on occasion, occasionally overnight)
  • Financial administration including; processing invoices, managing subcontractor invoices and reconciliation
  • General organisational duties

Person specification;

  • Previous experience in a similar role, supporting at senior management level, with experience in business and private support
  • Fluency in Spanish is highly desirable, with conversational skills at a minimum
  • Someone who is personable, adaptable and takes pride in their work
  • A self-starter who is well-organised, able to manage your own diary, and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Loyal, discreet and able to deal with confidential information
  • A great team player and good at building new relationships and working across departments
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with a willingness to be flexible with working hours when needed
