Senior Principal Consultant

An exciting new opportunity in the form of an Operational Support position has arisen within a friendly and dynamic organisation based in Manchester city centre. This is a brand new, full-time role which will be varied and hands-on.

This position will suit someone with previous experience in a similar role, or a candidate with similar transferable experience. With it being a new position, there is the opportunity for the successful candidate to put their own stamp on the role and build it over time.

The role will be hybrid, typically three days in the office and two from home.

Duties will include:

  • Providing support with compliance for H&S and external audits
  • Organising and supporting with office related events – gatherings, meetings and team events including socials, summer and Christmas party
  • Compiling internal comms relating to the office and office-related events
  • Setting up monthly slides adding in new starters, birthdays and any team specific or event (Easter/Valentines etc) activities
  • Supporting New Business team with client gifts
  • Replying to and forwarding emails from the company email address to correct people
  • Arranging kit for new starters
  • Managing 365 licenses and updating monthly, removing any freelancers no longer in use
  • Updating and maintaining company mobile log and switching sims/handsets for new starters and leavers
  • Updating new starters on internal phone system
  • Responding and completing data security questionnaires for tenders/pitches
  • Responsible for managing and renewing essential audits including ISO 9001 and 20121
  • Responsible for managing and renewing all essential accreditations
  • Key contact for sustainability and confidently presenting the company’s green promise and ISO accreditations with clients and on regular client calls where required
  • Undertaking monthly auditing of ISO frameworks ready for annual audit, collating all evidence, updating trackers and registers and ensuring all relevant information is passed over and tracked
  • Growing the GM Charter
  • Managing the rollout of ISO20121 across the business
  • Creating and maintaining the management system
  • Supporting with embedding ISO20121 across the business, supporting with training for all teams
  • Representing the business to clients with a strong sustainable agenda
  • Undertaking all relevant training  
  • Completing data security questionnaires and company related PQQ’s and acknowledging responses 
  • Building strong relationships with all divisions within the business
  • Providing regular updates for the team on a variety of topics/help available to them
  • Completing environmental questionnaires for tenders where required
  • Provide support and cover for illness/holiday where required
