Senior Principal Consultant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to join a forward-thinking pharmaceutical company based in stunning offices in Manchester city centre on a permanent basis.

This is a brand new role supporting an influential Chief Commerical Officer, within a fast-paced, dynamic and friendly company.

This is a hybrid role, with typically 2 days in the office, the rest from home. The position will suit a proactive, self-starter with previous experience supporting at a senior/C-suite/Board level.

Duties will include:

Administrative Support:

  • Managing calendars, schedules, and appointments.
  • Arranging and coordinating travel itineraries, accommodation, and logistics.
  • Preparing and organising documents, reports, presentations, and other materials for meetings and presentations.
  • Handling expense reports, invoices, and other financial documents with accuracy and attention to detail.

Communication and Liaison:

  • Serving as a primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors.
  • Managing emails, phone calls, and correspondence, ensuring timely responses and appropriate prioritisation.
  • Facilitating effective communication within the commercial team and across other departments within the organisation.
  • Drafting, proofreading, and editing correspondence, memos, and other written communications as necessary.

Meeting Coordination and Support:

  • Organising and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events, including scheduling, logistics, and agenda preparation.
  • Attending meetings as required, recording minutes, and distributing follow-up action items to relevant stakeholders.
  • Preparing meeting materials, including presentations, reports, and briefing documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Project Assistance:

  • Providing support for commercial projects, including research, data analysis, and documentation.
  • Assisting in the coordination and implementation of project plans, tracking progress and milestones.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met within established timelines and budgets.

Confidentiality and Discretion:

  • Handling sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Maintaining confidentiality regarding business strategies, financial data, and other proprietary information.
  • Exercising sound judgment and discretion in all communications and interactions.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the commercial function.
  • Proactively seeking ways to streamline administrative processes and enhance overall effectiveness.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience as an executive assistant or personal assistant, preferably in a commercial or business environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a high level of professionalism and diplomacy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and dynamic work environments.
  • Ability to speak an additional European language a bonus but not a requirement.

Salary is up to £45,000 per annum (DOE) plus benefits.
