Senior Principal Consultant

A global investment management firm, is hiring a Team Assistant, to execute a myriad of administrative tasks, supporting across multiple teams in the London office. Reporting to the EA to the CEO, you will provide cover to the Executive Committee support team, Investor Relations & Investment teams, Front of house and Facilities.

The role is fast paced, varied and dynamic – perfectly suited to a proactive individual with lots of initiative and team spirit.

Duties will include:

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of investor communications, reports and presentations, including printing, binding, and distributing.
  • Track and reconcile expenses, prepare expense reports, and ensure adherence to company policies.
  • Provide additional support to the team to help with arranging travel itineraries, including flights, accommodation, ground transportation, and visa arrangements.
  • Provide hands on support for internal meetings, external events, investor conferences, and roadshows as directed.
  • Work closely with the Office Manager/IT/Facilities, assisting with administrative tasks, to ensure the smooth functioning of the London office.
  • Provide lunchtime reception cover and for any periods of absence and holidays, with a willingness to sit on front desk at times for cover.  
  • Organise and receive, post, courier deliveries/pick up.
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability and a willingness to help, no matter how small the request.
  • Assist the team to update investor databases and contact lists to ensure details and preferences are properly recorded.
  • Assist with hard copy and electronic filing.
  • Manage and respond to general queries, in a professional, polite, and efficient manner.
  • Provide general administration and ad hoc support for Execs visiting the London office.

Skills and experience:

  • 12 – 18 months experience in a corporate, office environment
  • Related Administration, Business, or Secretarial qualifications advantageous
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • A professional demeanour, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • A team player with the initiative to work independently when needed.

Salary £30,000 - £35,000 plus an excellent benefits package.
