Team Assistant / Administrator (Part-Time Temporary)
Location: London
Hours: 3 Days Per Week (Office-Based)
Hourly Rate: £14–£18 per hour plus holiday pay (DOE)

 

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an eloquent and professionally presented Team Assistant / Administrator to join the London office of a boutique investment firm on a part-time, ongoing temporary basis. Reporting to the Office Manager, this varied and client-facing role offers the chance to support a busy office while enjoying a dynamic and supportive environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answering reception phone calls, taking accurate messages, and ensuring they are passed on promptly.
  • Printing, scanning, and photocopying documents and invoices.
  • Logging contractors and guests on the online registration system.
  • Receiving deliveries and liaising with contractors.
  • Managing the Office Manager’s inbox lightly, flagging important emails as required.
  • Assisting with travel arrangements and creating itineraries.
  • Ensuring the kitchen area remains tidy and stocked.
  • Acting as a friendly and approachable point of contact for employees in the office.

Person Specification:

  • 1–2 years’ experience as a Team Assistant or Administrator (Investment Management or Financial Services experience preferred).
  • Confident working in a professional, corporate environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and adaptable.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
