Team Administrator (Temporary)
Location: North London
Contract Length: 1–2 months (Immediate Start)
Working Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexibility required for evening programmes)
Hourly Rate: £14 per hour

 

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Administrator to join a community and cultural centre on a temporary basis. Based in their state-of-the-art office in North London, you will provide overall administrative and logistical support to the programming team, assisting with a range of planned programmes and events. These include talks with key speakers, as well as art, comedy, and music events.

This is an urgent requirement, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scheduling and communicating deadlines to the team, ensuring effective coordination.
  • Liaising with other departments to resolve scheduling overlaps or clashes.
  • Managing logistical tasks, including ordering food and drink, booking couriers, and arranging flights, taxis, and accommodation for the Programming team.
  • Supporting events by formatting and circulating relevant documents.
  • Assisting with the Languages programme by allocating Zoom licences, generating meeting links, and liaising with teachers regarding lessons and invoices.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for the team, forwarding relevant information as required.
  • Providing scheduling and administrative support to the Director of the department, including preparing for meetings and recording minutes.
  • Offering ongoing assistance to the Communities team, including specific support for the Foodbank programme.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or team support role, ideally within the charitable sector.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A team player with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
