Temporary Team Administrator – Community and Cultural Centre – North London
Our client, a vibrant community and cultural centre, is seeking a proactive and organised Team Administrator to join their Programming team on a temporary basis. Based in their state-of-the-art office in North London, this role provides essential administrative and logistical support for a variety of exciting events and programmes, including talks with key speakers, art, comedy, and music events.
This is an urgent requirement, ideally suited to someone available to start immediately for one to two months. Standard working hours are 9am–5pm, but occasional flexibility is required for evening events.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule team activities and communicate deadlines, resolving any overlaps or clashes by liaising with other departments.
- Order and coordinate supplies such as food, drinks, couriers, flights, taxis, and accommodation for Programmers, including reconciling departmental credit cards.
- Support events by preparing, formatting, and circulating relevant documents.
- Assist the Languages programme by allocating Zoom licences, generating meeting links, and liaising with teachers regarding lessons and invoices.
- Act as the first point of contact for the team, forwarding relevant details as required.
- Provide scheduling and administrative support to the Director, including meeting preparation and minute-taking.
- Offer ongoing support to the Communities team, including initiatives like the Foodbank programme.
Skills and Experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Proven experience in an administrative or team support role, ideally within the charitable sector.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent team player with strong organisational skills.
- Confident communicator with solid written and verbal communication skills.
