Senior Principal Consultant

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Administrator to join a community and cultural centre on a temporary basis. Based in their state-of-the-art office in North London, you will undertake a busy and varied team support role, providing overall administrative and logistical support to the programming team. You will provide administrative support for a range of planned programmes and events (these include talks with key speakers, art, comedy, music events and more!)

This is an urgent requirement and we are ideally looking for someone to start ASAP for one to two months. The hours are 9-5 but some of their programmes run into the evenings as well, so some flexibility may be required.

The successful candidate will ideally have 1-2 years administrative experience in a similar role, strong MS Office skills, good organisational skills and a flexible approach.

Duties include:

• Scheduling and communicating schedules and deadlines to the team
• Liaising with other departments where necessary to resolve any overlap/clash in scheduling
• Ordering food and drink, couriers, flights/taxis/accommodation as needed by Programmers & complete reconciliation of departmental credit card
• Supporting with events including formatting and circulation of any relevant documents
• Support the cinema programme, liaising with the office and managing spreadsheets
• Acting as first point of contact for the team and forward any relevant details to them as and when needed
• Supporting Director of department with scheduling of meetings, preparing for these and recording/disseminating minutes where applicable
• Ongoing support to team members as required with day to day admin needs

Skills and experience:

• Confident with Microsoft Office software - Outlook, Excel and Word
• Experience of working in an Administrative, team support role, ideally within the charitable sector
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good team player
• Good communication skills (written and verbally)

This role will pay £14 per hour
