A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Administrator to join a community and cultural centre on a temporary basis. Based in their state-of-the-art office in North London, you will undertake a busy and varied team support role, providing overall administrative and logistical support to the programming team. You will assist with a range of planned programmes and events, which include talks with key speakers, art, comedy, music events, and more!
This is an urgent requirement, and we are ideally looking for someone to start ASAP. The hours are 9-5, but some of the programmes run into the evenings, so some flexibility may be required.
Team Administrator
Location: North London
Pay Rate: £14 per hour
Contract: Temporary (1-2 months, immediate start)
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and communicate schedules and deadlines to the team.
- Liaise with other departments to resolve any overlap or clashes in scheduling.
- Order food and drink, arrange couriers, flights, taxis, and accommodation as needed by Programmers, and complete reconciliation of departmental credit cards.
- Support with events by formatting and circulating any relevant documents.
- Assist with the cinema programme, liaising with the office and managing spreadsheets.
- Act as the first point of contact for the team and forward any relevant details as needed.
- Support the Director of the department with scheduling meetings, preparing for these, and recording/disseminating minutes where applicable.
- Provide ongoing support to team members with day-to-day administrative needs.
Skills and Experience:
- Confident with Microsoft Office software, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Experience in an administrative or team support role, ideally within the charitable sector.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong team player with good communication skills (written and verbal).
This role will pay £14 per hour.
