Business Manager – CEO and Chief Strategy Officer
Location: London
Salary: £65,000 - £80,000 per annum (DOE) plus bonus and benefits

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Business Manager to provide full operational support to the CEO and Chief Strategy Officer, alongside Executive Assistant duties. This high-profile, senior-level role is ideal for an Operational Business Manager or Executive Assistant who is comfortable working across all levels of the organisation and someone who can work with the utmost confidence and discretion.

With involvement in strategic projects alongside core EA responsibilities, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a varied, challenging, and fast-paced role.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a communication liaison between the CEO and the management team, relaying information and facilitating effective communication.
  • Attending key meetings with the CEO and management team, absorbing key information, and summarising it for execution of next steps.
  • Gathering and analysing information to produce reports and presenting insights to relevant executives.
  • Managing team objectives and ensuring regular status updates are received.
  • Coordinating activities around reporting deadlines.
  • Managing quarterly Committees, including drafting agendas, compiling materials, and scheduling meetings.
  • Coordinating and distributing meeting materials and agendas.
  • Overseeing various projects, priorities, and deadlines, such as annual reports.
  • Providing ad hoc formatting support for PowerPoint and Word documents.
  • Managing diaries and meetings (internal and external).
  • Monitoring the CEO’s and CSO’s Outlook inboxes.
  • Organising national and international travel for executives and visitors through a travel agent.
  • Liaising with high-profile clients and senior external parties.
  • Arranging internal meetings, working lunches, and social events.
  • Managing supplier and vendor accounts.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in an Executive Assistant role supporting C-Suite executives.
  • Experience within the London Insurance market is desirable but not essential.
  • Advanced minute-taking skills, including preparing for, attending, and documenting meetings.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage self and others seamlessly.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships across the business.
  • Excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
