Job Title: Customer Service Representative | Location: Remote (with occasional travel to London) | Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join one of the fastest-growing health brands in the UK as a Customer Service Representative! This full-time permanent role will be predominantly remote, with ad hoc travel to the London office when required (likely once per quarter).

As part of the company’s online sales strategy, the Customer Service role will be responsible for managing all online communications with digital customers, partners, and ambassadors through the Zendesk platform. You will go above and beyond to support the growth of the online platform each day, serving as the first point of contact for all online queries relating to the organisation.

This role will suit someone who is passionate about health and well-being as well as providing first-class customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience using a CRM system or Zendesk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers via the Zendesk platform and respond via email, live chat, and social media.
  • Provide expert help and advice on the full product range, knowledgeably describing the incredible benefits of the products (basic templates provided).
  • Resolve product or service problems such as order/subscription queries, delivery issues, and transaction problems by determining the cause, explaining the best solution to the customer, and providing timely follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to develop ideas and initiatives that support a first-class customer experience.
  • Share insights regarding customer needs and feedback, along with actions and remedies.
  • Build positive relationships with customers by communicating according to brand guidelines.

Person Specification:

  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to write professionally.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent computer, digital, and smartphone literacy.
  • Knowledge of CRM or customer service platforms such as Zendesk (training can be provided).
  • Professional and considerate demeanor, with a willingness to go the extra mile.
  • Fun, optimistic, and happy disposition with a bright outlook.
  • Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills, with a positive can-do approach.
  • Strong listening abilities to understand and respond to customer needs.
  • Empathy to understand and communicate effectively with customers.
  • Patience to provide a positive experience, even when customers have multiple questions.
  • Basic technical or industry knowledge to effectively solve problems.
