We are delighted to be recruiting an Executive Assistant to support the Chief Executive of a high-impact UK-based organisation focused on social change. Executive Assistant to Chief Executive – Remote, UK-Based (with occasional travel)
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £40,000 per annum - £42,750 per annum 

Working Pattern: Full-time, remote (UK-Based) 

About the Role
This Executive Assistant position is ideal for someone experienced in working at C-suite level within a fast-paced organisation. You will act as a key point of contact for the CEO, manage her time and priorities, and provide high-level executive and governance support. You will also play a pivotal role in coordinating board activities and working cross-functionally across the organisation to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

CEO Executive Support

  • Deliver proactive diary, inbox, travel, and expense management.

  • Act as the first point of contact for all incoming communication into the CEO’s office.

  • Coordinate internal communications and cross-team alignment, working with direct reports and the leadership team.

  • Prepare briefing notes, presentations, and reports in advance of meetings.

  • Attend and support internal meetings, collating papers, taking minutes, and tracking actions.

  • Manage requests for public appearances or speaking engagements, ensuring appropriate representation.

  • Support stakeholder communication and relationship management on behalf of the CEO.

  • Lead discreet projects on behalf of the executive office as required.

Governance & Board Coordination

  • Plan and coordinate Board of Trustees and subcommittee meetings, including scheduling, agenda preparation, and minute taking.

  • Maintain all governance records including declarations of interest, risk registers, and attendance logs.

  • Provide governance and compliance support, ensuring the smooth running of the AGM and adherence to regulatory requirements.

  • Oversee trustee recruitment, induction, and appraisal processes.

  • Support the annual business planning cycle and reporting framework.

About You
This role would suit an experienced Executive Assistant with exceptional organisational skills and a keen interest in governance and strategic operations. A strong understanding of confidentiality, professional discretion, and stakeholder management is essential.
