Early Careers Advisor – Professional Services

Location: Hybrid (with office presence required)
Salary: Competitive, DOE

We are thrilled to be recruiting for an Early Careers Advisor to join a highly regarded professional services firm. With a collaborative and progressive culture, this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to step up or take on a new challenge in the Early Careers space.

Working closely with the HR Director, you will take full ownership of supporting trainees through their professional qualifications while contributing to the wider talent development and learning & development (L&D) strategy of the firm.

Key Responsibilities

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Act as the recognised expert for professional qualifications within the firm.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with external providers and professional bodies to optimise processes and ensure success.
  • Documentation Management: Maintain relevant documentation, ensuring trainee progress is accurately tracked and up to date.
  • Training Support: Assist junior talent with exam and training administration, ensuring a seamless process.
  • Results Communication: Share and discuss exam results, providing professional advice and support as needed.
  • L&D Implementation: Support the L&D team in delivering talent management and career development programmes.
  • Succession Planning: Develop and implement strategies to support succession planning, promotion processes, and coaching initiatives.
  • D&I Training: Lead on delivering diversity and inclusion (D&I) training and education programmes to support the firm’s commitment to equity and inclusion.

Person Specification

  • Experience working within an L&D function, ideally in a professional services environment.
  • Thorough understanding of accounting qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, CFAB, CTA, AAT, and ATT.
  • Confident and collaborative approach to working with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Passionate about talent development and early careers, with a proactive and professional attitude.
  • Ability to work autonomously and maintain the firm’s high standards and values.
