Our client, a prestigious yet forward-thinking organisation, is offering a rare and exciting opportunity for an experienced Early Careers Manager to lead their early careers and recruitment function. In this role, you will have line management responsibility for two dedicated recruiters—one specialising in Early Careers and the other in Experienced Hires—and be responsible for developing and implementing the firm's attraction and hiring strategy.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a recruitment professional with a passion for early careers and experienced hire recruitment, looking to drive strategic improvements and manage high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and embed the firm’s graduate attraction strategy, focusing on process improvement and engagement strategies.
  • Oversee the experienced hire recruitment process, working closely with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs.
  • Project manage vacation schemes, collaborating with Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) professionals to attract and retain a diverse range of trainees.
  • Oversee the firm’s trainee programme, managing seat rotations and the overall trainee experience.
  • Support the HR generalist team in managing Employee Relations (ER) cases related to early careers employees.
  • Stay ahead of market trends to continually develop and refine the firm's recruitment strategy to maintain its status as an employer of choice.
  • Partner with senior leadership to forecast hiring needs and develop innovative hiring solutions to keep pace with market changes.
  • Upskill hiring managers on best practice interviewing techniques and unconscious bias awareness.
  • Develop and mentor the recruitment team, ensuring engagement and development goals are met.

Person Specification:

  • Proven experience in early careers, graduate recruitment, or experienced hire recruitment within the professional services sector.
  • Strong management experience and a passion for developing and leading a team.
  • Strategic mindset, with the ability to implement and influence recruitment strategies that drive positive change.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work closely with senior leadership.
  • Experience in project managing graduate programmes and D&I initiatives is highly desirable.
