Our client, a leading consultancy based in London, is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support one of the firm’s Managing Partners. This is a 1-year contract role to cover maternity leave, offering the chance to make a significant impact within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This in-office role requires a dedicated professional who can ensure smooth operations while meeting high standards of support for senior leadership. The role will commence in January 2025. Candidates must have G-Suite experience to be considered for this role.
Executive Assistant
Salary: £55,000– £75,000 per annum
Contract Type: 1-Year Contract (Maternity Cover)
Location: London (In-office, Monday-Thursday with optional WFH on Fridays)
About the Role:
As an Executive Assistant, you will anticipate and respond to the needs of the Managing Partner, managing both administrative and operational tasks to help them stay focused on strategic priorities. This role requires a proactive, solutions-oriented individual who can juggle competing priorities, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and work seamlessly with cross-functional teams. Strong project management skills, sound business judgment, and excellent written communication abilities are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle high-volume calendar management, travel arrangements, and expense reports. Ensure timely and strategic time management for the Partner, handle important documents, and host guests as needed. Manage any overlapping personal commitments.
- Provide flexible support to other Partners, teams, and initiatives, stepping in on projects or events and covering for other administrative staff as needed.
- Plan, manage, and execute team offsites, celebrations, events, and activities, overseeing event budgets and ensuring smooth execution.
- Coordinate with external partners, guests, and companies on behalf of the Partner to manage scheduling, appointments, and any special requests.
- Assist with the day-to-day running of the office, including lunch orders, meeting setups, and liaising with facilities management to maintain a functional office environment.
- Handle multiple work streams effectively, ensuring quality and timely responses to requests. Minimal out-of-hours support may be needed.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum Requirements: 6+ years of administrative support experience, with 3+ years directly supporting C-Suite executives. Demonstrated confidentiality, discretion, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Preferred Skills: Advanced calendar and travel management, event planning, and written/verbal communication skills. Familiarity with GSuite and Concur.
- Experience in venture capital or startups is beneficial.
