Executive Assistant – Chief Sales Officer
Location: Birmingham City Centre or Liverpool
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (DOE) plus benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of a nationally recognised recruitment agency. This role can be based either at the company’s Head Office in Birmingham City Centre or their office in Liverpool, offering flexibility for candidates from either location.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and highly organised Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Supporting a passionate and heavily involved executive, you will need to be self-motivated, confident in working independently, and adept at building and maintaining strong relationships across the organisation.
To succeed in this role, you must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and have proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and presentation creation. This is a predominantly office-based role, ideal for someone looking to contribute meaningfully to a forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Collating, analysing, and reporting company data in a clear and actionable manner.
- Conducting deep analysis of customer satisfaction surveys and providing insights.
- Managing and processing expense claims efficiently.
- Coordinating and preparing briefing materials for meetings, trips, and events for the CSO.
- Producing and distributing sales figures and other relevant reports.
- Creating PowerPoint presentations for leadership training and initiatives.
- Arranging and managing internal and external appointments, visits, and correspondence.
- Maintaining digital filing systems and managing email correspondence on behalf of the CSO.
- Supporting leadership with ad hoc personal duties and purchase management.
- Taking minutes during meetings and ensuring follow-up actions are completed.
- Building and maintaining effective relationships across the business.
Person Specification
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience providing senior management support, ideally at an executive level.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a strong understanding of PowerPoint.
- Experience working with internal or external customers, both face-to-face and remotely.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
- A proactive and friendly approach, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Confidence in managing time effectively, working to tight deadlines, and using initiative.
- A positive, can-do attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality support.
