Responsibilities include: 

  • Provide a consistently high standard of administrative support to the CFO.
  • Diary management including scheduling meetings, 1-2-1s, and reviews.
  • Ensure a high level of confidentiality when dealing with all information and requests.
  • Manage email inbox and telephone correspondence in an effective and efficient manner.
  • Prepare the CFO for a range of meetings and schedules.
  • Prepare meeting itineraries and agendas, as well as coordinating attendees, refreshments, and meeting rooms.
  • Proactively deliver schedule briefings at the beginning and end of each day.
  • Minute meetings and make notes relating to important information, collating actions, following up on the actions and keeping logs up to date.
  • Effectively consulting with internal stakeholders and external contacts on behalf of the CFO.
  • Make travel and accommodation arrangements, ensuring efficient use of time and minimal expenditure.
  • Monitor plans and itineraries to manage cancellations and changes.
  • Prioritise workload to ensure all urgent work is actioned in a timely manner.
  • Help format and finalise key documentation such as letters, emails & presentations.
  • Ability to construct correspondence and deliver messages on behalf of the CFO using your own resources, and relationships.

Person specification: 

  • Previous experience in a similar role as an Executive Assistant, supporting a CFO or in Financial Services setting 
  • Previous experience minuting senior meetings, collating actions, and following up
  • Clear understanding of business areas, strategies, and priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • High level of confidentiality, integrity, and attention to detail
  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence and ability to build strong relationships across various stakeholders, including Senior Management

Salary for this role is up to £45,000 DOE. You will be based from their lovely offices in Leeds City Centre and will benefit from hybrid working, this is inline with business needs but approximately 2 days per week from home.
