Location: Hybrid (12-Month Fixed-Term Contract)
Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (DOE)

 

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to support the CEO and Chairman of a wonderful charity that delivers key services, transforming lives and communities. The successful Executive Assistant will act as a key point of contact, building positive working relationships with the Board of Trustees, Directors, and liaising with key stakeholders.

This role would suit an EA with solid experience of supporting senior leaders in their day-to-day practical needs and diary management, someone who is skilled at relationship building, with excellent minute-taking skills and an ability to manage a variety of demands and requests.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract role (hybrid working) starting mid-May – perfect for an EA who is immediately available or coming to the end of their current contract.

Duties will include:

  • High volume of diary management, keeping track of the CEO's calendar and acting as a gatekeeper.
  • Scheduling Board and sub-committee meetings.
  • Taking effective minutes of key meetings and supporting with the distribution of papers.
  • Managing internal communications on behalf of the CEO and the Chair.
  • Monitoring key management actions, ensuring follow-through and reporting on progress.
  • Managing specific projects on behalf of the CEO, such as event management, data collation, and recruitment.

Skills and Attributes:

  • Demonstrable experience of providing Executive Assistant support at senior level.
  • An interest in the charity sector.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • An ability to take ownership of tasks and follow through on actions.
  • Confident in communicating with a wide range of contacts.
  • The ability to act with tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality, and deal with sensitive issues.
  • Strong written and spoken English, used to handling correspondence and communications at a senior/external level.
