Executive Assistant to Senior Executives – City of London (Hybrid)

Our client, a prestigious global insurance business, is seeking a highly skilled Executive Assistant to support four senior Executives from their stunning City office. This role requires working in the office four days per week, with one day working from home.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional, confident, and experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in a high-level administrative role, managing complex diaries, coordinating travel, and supporting senior leadership. The position also offers the chance to contribute to senior management projects and broader corporate strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a gatekeeper, developing a deep understanding of each Executive’s role and responsibilities within the organisation and externally.
  • Manage complex diaries and coordinate busy schedules.
  • Organise internal and external meetings, as well as client events.
  • Oversee inbox management and respond to emails where necessary.
  • Arrange and coordinate complex business and personal travel, including flights, visas, accommodation, and ground transport.
  • Handle expenses management efficiently.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the firm to support the company’s core values and deliver a seamless client experience.
  • Provide absence cover for London-based EAs as required.

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting at Board level, ideally within the insurance industry.
  • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with superb organisation and planning skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels across multiple offices.
  • Proven ability to handle and prioritise tasks for multiple stakeholders, considering business criticality and time-sensitivity.
  • Resilient work ethic with a commitment to meeting deadlines while responding promptly to client and stakeholder needs.
  • Adaptability to handle changing priorities and work under pressure.
  • Strong discretion and confidentiality skills.
