Job Title: Executive Assistant to Senior Partner | Prestigious Art Gallery | West End | Salary: Competitive
A unique opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to join a prestigious art gallery based in the West End. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar industry, such as another art gallery or auction house, and may possess transferrable skills that do not necessarily include prior Executive Assistant experience. In this role, you will manage all business and administrative duties, including artist relations and dealings with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs).
Duties include:
- Diary management for the Senior Partner
- Coordinating all travel arrangements and producing detailed itineraries
- Preparing weekly and daily agendas, overseeing appointments, and liaising with the gallery
- Organising and maintaining viewing schedules
- Compiling price lists and inventory reports
- Coordinating all shipping, transport, collection, and delivery with the Registrar
- Overseeing general financial office tasks, including valuations and currencies of sales
- Researching artists, objects, and the art market for comparables
- Performing general administrative duties
Skills and Experience Required:
- Outstanding communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Strong prioritisation skills
- Creative problem-solving abilities
- Ideally, experience in a similar role or assisting senior staff in an art gallery, museum, or auction house
- Excellent Excel skills would be advantageous
- A passion for art is desirable
This is a fully gallery-based role with working hours from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with flexibility required.
