Executive Assistant to Senior Executives – Global Insurance Business
Location: City of London
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum (DOE) plus discretionary bonus and benefits
Contract: 1-Year Fixed Term Contract
A wonderful opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Assistant to support four senior Executives of a global insurance business. This role will be predominantly office-based for four days a week, with one day working from home.
This position is ideal for a professional, confident, and highly proactive Executive Assistant who enjoys high-level administration, arranging and coordinating events and conferences, complex diary management, and travel support at both senior leadership and team levels. This visible and wide-ranging role is perfect for someone who thrives in a busy, high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extensive Diary Management: Coordinate and execute internal and external meetings and hospitality events.
- Gatekeeper Duties: Manage email inboxes and ensure timely responses.
- Travel Management: Arrange complex business and personal travel for Senior Executives, including flights, visas, hotels, and ground transportation.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate travel bookings for the wider team around high-profile meetings and marketing activities.
- Event Management: Act as the events manager for the wider team, coordinating client-facing events.
- Expense Management: Handle expense reports and ensure accuracy.
- Absence Cover: Provide cover for London-based EAs and PAs as required.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience: 3-5 years in a comparable Executive Assistant role, ideally within the insurance industry.
- Event Coordination: Proven experience in coordinating events, from small to large scale.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail with expert organisational and planning skills.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and ability to build relationships across all levels within the organisation.
- Task Prioritisation: Ability to handle and prioritise tasks for multiple stakeholders based on business criticality and time-sensitivity.
- Work Ethic: A strong commitment to meeting deadlines and a self-initiating team player who enjoys collaboration.
- Confidentiality: Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
