An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director of an established and highly reputable Financial Services firm. You will provide comprehensive, confidential and proactive support to the MD and broader support to London investment team.   This newly created role will see you working closely with a driven executive who splits their time between the company headquarters in Leeds and the London Investment team.  This is an ideal role for an individual who’s excited to gain exposure in a fast-paced environment, working within a company that is very well known in their sector.

Executive Assistant

Location: London

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 (DOE)

Contract: Permanent role

Hybrid:  2 Days in the Office & 3 Days WFH with flexibility to mirror the Executive’s schedule

Responsibilities will include:

  • To take overall responsibility for the day-to-day administration required to support the CCO.
  • Inbox and diary management including filtering emails, highlighting urgent correspondence, responding and delegating as appropriate.
  • Scheduling meetings ensuring agendas and papers are delivered on schedule, records are made and actions followed up and delivered on time.
  • Preparing draft reports, ensuring the timely production of quality documents and presentations as required, both in terms of research, analysis and initial drafting.
  • Undertaking ad-hoc research tasks as required to support the delivery of strategic objectives
  • Coordinating travel and accommodation requirements, ensuring the most effective use time.
  • Expenses management, ensuring the correct application of procedures and administering the team’s purchase ordering system.
  • Coordinating team events.
  • Provide support on a range of ad hoc projects and initiatives.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience supporting at Managing Director level within financial services/professional services.
  • Research skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Can create good working relationships and a friendly approachable office.
  • Able to work effectively when under pressure and able to handle a number of tasks simultaneously.
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Self-motivated with the drive and motivation to see tasks through.
  • Willing and able to be flexible and adaptable.
