Location: Trafford Park, Manchester (Office-based initially, hybrid following induction)
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE) plus benefits

 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to join a tight-knit, hard-working team supporting the Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This is an opportunity to work within an award-winning Manchester-based fintech, highly regarded for its outstanding customer service and forward-thinking culture.

This fast-paced and varied role requires someone proactive, resilient, and eager to take on a variety of tasks and projects.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Extensive diary and email management, successfully coordinating the workload and managing priorities of the CTO.
  • Providing diverse secretarial and administrative support to the CTO, direct reports, and the wider team.
  • Liaising closely with key stakeholders and handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Organising various meetings via Teams, at an office location or externally.
  • Providing ad hoc personal support to the CTO.
  • Attending key meetings, taking minutes, and recording actions.
  • Assisting with key projects, ensuring priorities are met within given timescales.
  • Acting as a point of contact for the CTO’s office.
  • Fielding email and telephone enquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Booking business travel arrangements, including flights, transportation, and accommodation.
  • Producing documents, including PowerPoint presentations, letters, and reports, as required.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience as an EA or PA (minimum 3 years) supporting senior management.
  • Experience taking minutes at governance meetings (essential).
  • Personable, adaptable, and takes pride in their work.
  • Strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail and the ability to identify areas for support.
  • Self-starter, well-organised, and able to manage their own diary effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A great team player who builds relationships effectively across departments.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with flexibility regarding working hours when needed.
