Executive Assistant – Logistics Development Company
Location: Manchester City Centre (Office-Based)
Salary: Up to £38,000 per annum (DOE) plus benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to join a successful logistics development company in Manchester, supporting the Managing Director and Development Director. This is a full-time, permanent role based in their stunning Manchester City Centre office.
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about the EA profession, self-motivated, and a natural problem solver. The ideal candidate will be confident in building positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels and able to work with initiative and autonomy.
This is an office-based role due to the collaborative nature of the position. On occasion, you may also be required to travel to other UK-based offices.
Duties include:
- Managing complex diaries and making travel arrangements, including some international travel.
- Handling email management, prioritising, and filing correspondence.
- Processing expenses for the Managing Director, including occasional personal tasks.
- Leading events management for the Manchester office, including organising the corporate events calendar, company away days, and other events.
- Acting as an aide-memoire for the Managing Director and Development Director.
- Managing and coordinating the annual programme of internal meetings, team activities, and charity/fundraising events.
- Supporting onboarding processes for new starters when required.
Person specification:
- Proven ability to build trust and develop strong working relationships with Directors, stakeholders, and team members.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 suite and tech-savviness are essential.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence, diplomacy, and integrity.
- Friendly, professional, and approachable demeanour.
- Experience in collaborative work across teams and locations.
- Exceptional organisational, project management, and problem-solving skills with multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and proofreading skills.
- Experience handling highly confidential matters with discretion.
- Commitment to personal development and staying up to date with best practices in the EA profession through networking and training.
- At least two years of experience as an EA supporting C-suite or Executive-level Directors.
- Full and clean driving license required.
Benefits include:
