Executive Assistant – Property Developer
Location: Manchester City Centre (Predominantly Office-Based)
Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum (DOE) plus benefits
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a leading UK property developer based in Manchester City Centre on a permanent basis.
This role would suit a dynamic and tenacious EA who can provide responsive and efficient administrative support to the company Founder and CEO, along with occasional private/personal assistance. The role also involves supporting the wider leadership team and assisting with general office administration duties.
While this is predominantly an office-based role, there is flexibility to work from home when the CEO is out of the office. Flexibility is required as working-from-home days will vary.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the first point of contact for the CEO, managing all aspects of their daily routine.
- Organising meetings, preparing agendas, and recording actions and minutes when required.
- Managing meeting actions on behalf of the CEO, ensuring timely follow-ups with internal teams and third parties.
- Handling diary management, scheduling meetings, and coordinating both work and personal appointments.
- Managing income and expenditure, liaising with suppliers, processing payments, and maintaining filing systems.
- Supporting personal household tasks, including bill payments, orders, and errands for the CEO and family members.
- Making travel, hotel, and restaurant arrangements and organising family holidays.
- Coordinating VIP visits, including meeting and greeting guests, organising meeting rooms, and hospitality.
- Managing incoming emails and correspondence, including inbox clearance and responding on behalf of the CEO.
- Preparing reports, briefing papers, and presentations in collaboration with wider teams.
- Dealing with highly confidential and sensitive information and materials.
- Overseeing projects and tasks, ensuring timely completion and effective follow-ups.
- Liaising with investors, stakeholders, and other business teams on behalf of the CEO.
- Planning and scheduling events, carrying out research, and presenting findings.
- Providing ad hoc administrative support to the wider leadership team when required.
Person Specification
- Proven experience as a PA or EA, with a preference for experience within the property industry.
- Highly organised, methodical, and detail-oriented.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Discreet and professional, with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Proactive and able to anticipate needs before they arise.
- Confident working independently and taking initiative.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
- Flexibility to work outside of standard hours, including evenings and weekends when required.
