A dynamic, experienced Executive Assistant is sought to support the Founder and CEO of a fast-growing start-up. Our client has undergone remarkable growth, scaling from just 2 to over 100 employees in the span of four years. With over $100 million in funding secured to date, they are poised for continued success.
In this role, you'll work closely with the Founder and CEO, managing critical responsibilities and participating in strategic decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities:
- Calendar Management: Organise and manage the Co-Founder & CEO's schedule, including arranging meetings, appointments, and events. Prioritise tasks to optimise time management.
- Communication Handling: Serve as the main point of contact for the Co-Founder & CEO, managing their emails, calls, and messages. Filter and respond to communications appropriately, ensuring timely responses.
- Coordination Oversight: Coordinate logistics for meetings and events attended by the Co-Founder & CEO, including scheduling, room bookings, and travel arrangements. Ensure all necessary materials are prepared and distributed in advance.
- Internal Communication: Facilitate communication and collaboration between different teams within the organisation. Act as a liaison to ensure alignment of objectives and smooth workflow.
- Strategic Alignment: Work with department heads and team leaders to ensure operational activities support the company's overall goals. Identify opportunities for operational improvements.
- Project Leadership: Take the lead on high-priority projects, overseeing timelines, tasks, and resources. Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
- Initiative Driving: Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and drive initiatives forward. Develop action plans and mobilise resources to implement changes.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in executive support roles, supporting a Founder/CEO, specifically within a startup environment.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, adept at managing calendars, communications, and coordination tasks.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of effective communication with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Adaptability and resilience to thrive in fast-paced, dynamic startup environments.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset, passionate about driving initiatives forward.
- Collaborative nature, comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams.
This role offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000, with the flexibility of mainly remote work and occasional travel to London required approximately 2-4 times per month.
