Salary: Up to £29,500 per annum plus bonus
Contract: 12-month Fixed-Term Contract

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a proactive and diligent HR Administrator to join a reputable organisation based in Gaydon, Warwickshire. This will be a 12-month fixed-term contract initially, with the potential for this to turn into a permanent role afterward, depending on company needs. Candidates must be immediately available or on a short notice period in order to be considered.

This is a varied and hands-on role within a fast-paced environment where you will have exposure to internal employees at all levels of seniority. You will be involved in all employee lifecycle administration, from recruitment to offboarding and everything in between. You will be the first point of contact for employee correspondence, including absence management, systems access, and employee benefits queries.

This role would suit a data-driven individual looking to make strides in their HR career by gaining a thorough grounding in all areas of HR administration. You will have some previous HR admin experience as well as demonstrable knowledge in HR systems and/or employee administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the hiring process by posting job advertisements, screening CVs, and coordinating interviews.
  • Maintain and update HR databases.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, preparing onboarding materials, and ensuring all necessary paperwork is sent out quickly, tracking completed paperwork on the internal system.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal details.
  • Manage employee benefits enrolment and address any related inquiries.
  • Ensure company policies are consistently applied and communicated to all employees.
  • Assist in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.
  • Address employee queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner, both in person and via the shared inbox.
  • Support HR initiatives and programmes aimed at improving employee engagement and workplace culture.
  • Generate and analyse HR reports, such as headcount, turnover, and absenteeism, providing insights and recommendations based on HR data.
  • Handle routine administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling meetings, and maintaining HR systems.
  • Support the HR team in various projects and tasks as needed.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience in an HR admin role is desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, turning things around very quickly when needed.
  • Professional, discrete, and confidential.
  • Ability to build rapport and liaise with all levels of seniority.
  • Confident and friendly with excellent verbal and written English skills.
  • Keen eye for detail.
