HR Advisor (International Mobility) – Global Law Firm | Permanent | London
Lily Shippen are proud to have partnered with a leading global law firm in sourcing an HR Advisor (International Mobility) to join the team on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in global mobility, supporting international transfers and workforce planning. The role will involve working closely with employees and senior teams to ensure seamless international moves and compliance with legal requirements.
Reporting into the International Mobility Manager, you will provide high-level support to employees regarding global mobility, transfers, and workforce planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily support to the global mobility team, including managing cost projections, contracts, secondments, and mobility cases.
- Assist with trainee rotations when international moves are involved.
- Work closely with Partners in mobility-facing roles, acting as a key point of contact for global mobility issues.
- Keep up-to-date with legislative changes affecting international mobility, and communicate potential impacts to the firm.
- Support the recruitment team with immigration and right-to-work checks to ensure compliance.
- Lead on secondments, including managing policies and processes.
- Deliver briefings for international mobility, particularly for inbound and outbound secondments.
- Collaborate with the wider HR team on various HR projects.
Person Specification:
- At least one year of global mobility experience within a professional services environment.
- Strong interest and understanding of international mobility processes.
- Excellent influencing, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Proactive, organised, and able to manage multiple projects with high attention to detail.
- Familiarity with global immigration policies and relevant HR regulations.
Salary: Competitive (DOE)
