HR Advisor (Permanent) – Financial Technology Business | Salary: £55,000
We are absolutely delighted to be supporting a leading financial technology business based in the City of London to hire a dedicated, motivated, and impressive HR Advisor to join the team.
Reporting into the Head of HR, you will be responsible for providing a high-touch, efficient HR service to employees globally. This is a truly generalist role, allowing you to grow your skill set across all areas of the employee lifecycle with a great deal of autonomy from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the new joiner process.
- Manage leavers and conduct exit interviews.
- Work with the wider HR team on day-to-day HR operations and respond to queries in a timely manner.
- Lead on employee relations cases, specifically performance management, maternity/paternity, wellness, and employee well-being.
- Collaborate with line managers and senior leadership to drive and develop the people strategy.
- Liaise with the payroll and benefits team to support salary reviews, appraisals, and compensation rounds.
- Work closely with HR Analysts on employee data, analysing and reporting to the board, and making decisions as a result.
- Ensure training and development needs are met by working with line managers to support needs analysis and external partners for a variety of offerings.
Person Specification:
- Significant experience in an HR generalist capacity, ideally within the financial or professional services sector.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, busy environments with a real passion for delivering a high-touch service.
- Confidence in leading on employee relations cases such as performance improvement plans.
- Collaborative, supportive, and driven with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a thorough understanding of discretion and confidentiality.
