Contract: Fixed-term (3-6 months initially)

A dynamic organisation in Bolton is seeking an HR Business Partner to join their busy HR team on a fixed-term contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of success in change management and transformation projects.

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving projects forward by providing strategic HR support and guidance. This role requires someone experienced in managing change and transformation projects, dealing with TUPE employees/transfers, and collective consultation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and provide strategic HR support aligned with organisational goals.
  • Lead and support change and transformation projects, including restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Manage the TUPE process for transferring employees, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Facilitate collective consultation processes with employee representatives, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout.
  • Provide coaching and support to line managers on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
  • Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations for action as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Handle complex HR issues and employee relations matters with professionalism and sensitivity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or in a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong background in change management and transformation projects, including experience with TUPE and collective consultation processes.
  • Solid understanding of employment law and best HR practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Immediately available or on short notice.

Working Arrangements:Hybrid working model with ideally 4 days in the office per week, offering some flexibility if needed.
