A dynamic organisation in Bolton is seeking a HR Business Partner to join their busy HR team on a fixed-term contract basis (6 months initially). This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a proven track record of success in change management and transformation projects.

As an HR Business Partner, you will play a key role in driving the project forward by providing strategic HR support and guidance. This role requires someone who is experienced in managing change and transformation projects, dealing with TUPE employees/transfers, and collective consultation processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and provide strategic HR support aligned with organisational goals.
  • Lead and support change and transformation projects, including restructuring, mergers, and acquisitions.
  • Manage the TUPE process for transferring employees, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Facilitate collective consultation processes with employee representatives, ensuring effective communication and engagement throughout.
  • Provide coaching and support to line managers on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and talent development.
  • Analyse HR data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement, making recommendations for action as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Handle complex HR issues and employee relations matters with professionalism and sensitivity.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar role, ideally within a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong background in change management and transformation projects, including experience with TUPE and collective consultation processes.
  • Solid understanding of employment law and best HR practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Immediately available or on short notice.

Working Arrangements:

Hybrid working model with ideally 4 days in the office per week, offering some flexibility if needed.

Office located in Bolton. Salary up to £45,000 per annum (DOE).
