We are thrilled to partner with a prestigious boutique financial services client in the search for a Human Resources Business Partner to join their dynamic team. Based in stunning open-plan offices in the heart of the City, this role offers the perfect blend of hands-on HR management and strategic decision-making.
This is an exceptional opportunity to add real value to the organisation by leading HR processes while having the autonomy to design and implement people-focused initiatives. You will manage a dedicated client group with the support of an HR Advisor and HR Assistant, enabling you to drive change and contribute to the company's ambitious goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering with Hiring Managers: Challenge, influence, and guide managers to make the best people-focused decisions.
- Employee Relations (ER): Lead and manage complex ER issues with sensitivity, diligence, and professionalism.
- Strategic Input: Present to the board, participate in crucial decision-making, and report on results and outcomes.
- Mentorship: Manage and mentor junior team members, focusing on career progression and team growth.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain trusted relationships across your client group, embedding HR processes and supporting the HR business partnering model.
- Talent Management: Lead annual promotions, using talent mapping to inform decisions.
- Recruitment Collaboration: Work closely with the internal recruitment team to address skills gaps and support company goals.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role, ideally within financial services or a related professional services environment.
- Strong skills in managing employee relations and a sound understanding of HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience in mentoring and managing junior team members.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to balance operational and strategic responsibilities.
- Passionate about delivering HR excellence and embedding core company values.
