HR Business Partner
Location: City of London
We are delighted to be working with one of the City’s most desirable law firms to hire an HR Business Partner on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Global Head of HR, this role offers full autonomy and ownership of a designated client group while working closely with senior stakeholders and Heads of Department to design, implement, and deliver strategic people initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as a strategic business partner, leading initiatives that align with the firm’s people strategy.
- Managing complex employee relations (ER) cases and providing proactive support and guidance to the senior leadership team on challenging people issues.
- Understanding changes in the market and adapting strategies to deliver effectively on the firm’s people agenda.
- Leading on succession planning and talent mapping, supporting organisational development in collaboration with the Talent team.
- Assisting Reward specialists during compensation reviews, appraisals, and promotions.
- Driving process improvements to enhance efficiencies within your team and the broader HR function.
- Acting as the subject matter expert on restructures and TUPE processes.
- Collaborating with Recruitment, Learning & Development (L&D), and Reward teams to deliver integrated HR solutions.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience at an HR Business Partner level within a professional services or similar environment.
- Strong operational and strategic HR expertise, with a deep understanding of the employee lifecycle.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including Partners.
- Confidence to challenge and push back when necessary while maintaining professionalism and diplomacy.
- A team player who excels at managing conflicting priorities and staying present and accessible for your client group.
