Position: Human Resources Business Partner (Full-Time, Permanent)

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Business Partner to join the Audit & TAS departments of a leading firm. In this role, you will collaborate with key stakeholders to provide commercial people-related advice and implement strategic HR solutions across the departments. Your focus will be on talent management, change management, and diversity & inclusion (D&I) to drive business performance.
The People function is a dynamic and collaborative team that supports Partners and staff throughout their careers. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting these teams and ensuring that HR processes are delivered effectively to enhance business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend leadership team meetings to gain a deep understanding of business strategies, specifically within the Audit Operations Team and Audit Committee.
- Develop and implement workforce plans and strategic talent plans to ensure the departments meet their talent needs.
- Create and manage succession plans, ensuring development plans are in place for key individuals.
- Lead the deployment of people strategies within the departments, with a focus on leadership development, performance management, and organisational design.
- Manage recruitment processes, including attending interviews, facilitating onboarding, and ensuring successful integration of new hires.
- Lead employee relations efforts and ensure performance management processes are handled professionally.
- Oversee cyclical HR processes such as remuneration reviews, promotions, and employee appraisals, working with the People team to ensure accurate documentation and implementation.
- Support organisational changes, including TUPE, acquisitions, and headcount management, collaborating with the People team to ensure smooth transitions.
Person Specification:
- Full CIPD qualification.
- Proven experience as a Human Resources Business Partner, ideally within professional services or a similar environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment law, with particular expertise in areas such as discrimination and immigration regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to drive HR strategies and solutions.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Teams.
- A proactive, adaptable approach, with the ability to handle multiple priorities and complex HR issues.
