HRIS Specialist – Global Law Firm

We have recently partnered with a global law firm to hire an HRIS Specialist to join their team in London. Reporting into the Global Head of HR Systems, this role involves leveraging the firm’s HRIS and data to analyse, influence, and support people-related decisions.

The HRIS Specialist will provide business partnering advice through an HR analytics lens and assist with the internal development of data tools. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for HR analytics and a strong technical background in systems like Workday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analysing and interpreting people-related data to drive business decisions.
  • Creating presentations and transforming data into digestible formats.
  • Partnering with the business to influence decision-making through insights.
  • Assisting with report writing and the creation of dashboards within Workday.
  • Improving reporting efficiencies through automation.
  • Supporting ad hoc people-related projects across the wider HR function.
  • Collaborating on global leadership, data, and analytics projects and initiatives.
  • Driving efficiency within HR Operations by working closely with the team.
  • Liaising with the DEI team to report on key metrics and progress.
  • Proactively engaging with HR stakeholders to create MI reports based on their needs.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in an HR analytics role, ideally with exposure to the legal industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Workday, including a solid understanding of the system’s backend.
  • Innovative and analytical approach to identifying and solving issues.
  • Strong knowledge of MI requirements and best practices for presenting information.
  • Ability to communicate and present data clearly and effectively.
  • Experience in creating dashboards and automating reporting processes is highly desirable.
