Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the organisation’s goals and objectives.
- Design, implement, and evaluate training programmes that enhance employee skills, support career development, and improve overall business performance.
- Conduct training needs analyses across departments and develop tailored learning solutions.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and prioritise L&D initiatives that drive employee engagement and retention.
- Manage the L&D budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to support key learning initiatives.
- Lead the creation and management of e-learning platforms, workshops, and other training solutions.
- Measure the effectiveness of training programmes through regular assessments and feedback mechanisms.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and innovations in learning and development to ensure the company’s L&D strategy remains competitive.
- Support talent management processes by working closely with HR and leadership on succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement.
- Coach and mentor employees to foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in a Learning and Development (L&D) Manager role, preferably within a fast-paced or growing company.
- Strong understanding of L&D best practices, including training needs analysis, programme design, and evaluation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the business.
- Proficiency in using e-learning platforms and other training tools.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
