Legal Team Personal Assistant – Corporate & Commercial Department
Location: Leeds City Centre (Hybrid – 2 days from home)
Salary: Up to £30,000 plus bonus and benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Legal Team Personal Assistant to join the Corporate & Commercial department of a leading law firm. Based in their stunning Leeds City Centre offices, this hybrid role offers a dynamic and fast-paced environment, perfect for someone who thrives in a professional services setting.
As part of the Executive Support Services team, you’ll provide high-level support to Partners and Associates, ensuring the smooth running of their schedules and workflow. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in a similar role within a professional services environment who is looking to further their career in a thriving, client-focused department.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing and maintaining lawyers’ diaries, organising meetings, events, and travel arrangements.
- Monitoring and managing lawyers’ inboxes, responding on their behalf where appropriate.
- Planning and delegating workflow effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
- Supporting lawyers in maintaining strong client relationships, anticipating client needs.
- Preparing and distributing agendas, itineraries, and meeting papers, and chasing any outstanding items.
- Acting as a point of contact for file administration, ensuring everything is up to date and well-organised.
- Maintaining lawyers’ CVs and biographies, and assisting with submissions.
- Managing expenses, memberships, and subscriptions, including the use of the Purchase Order system.
Person Specification
- Previous experience in a similar role within professional services (legal experience preferred).
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong team player, with the ability to establish good working relationships at all levels.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility to work additional hours when required.
- A commitment to providing outstanding client service.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
