Legal Team Personal Assistant – Corporate & Commercial – Leeds City Centre (Hybrid)
We are delighted to partner with a leading law firm to recruit an experienced and proactive Legal Team Personal Assistant for their Corporate & Commercial department. Based in their stunning Leeds City Centre offices, this hybrid role offers the chance to provide high-level executive support to Partners and Associates while being part of a collaborative and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain lawyers’ diaries, including organising meetings, travel, and events.
- Monitor and respond to lawyers’ inboxes, handling correspondence and responding on behalf of the lawyers where appropriate.
- Plan and manage workflow, ensuring tasks are delegated and prioritised appropriately.
- Support the firm’s core value of strong client relationships, anticipating and addressing client needs.
- Prepare and distribute agendas, itineraries, and meeting papers, following up on pending items as needed.
- Oversee all aspects of file administration, acting as the point of contact for assigned lawyers.
- Maintain lawyers’ CVs/biographies and manage lawyer submissions.
- Process expenses, memberships, and subscriptions, including using the Purchase Order system and preparing payments.
Person Specification
- Previous experience in a similar role within professional services, ideally within the legal sector.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage at all levels.
- Flexible and adaptable, willing to work additional hours as needed.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Committed to providing outstanding client service at all times.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships.
Details and Benefits
- Location: Leeds City Centre (Hybrid: approx. 2 days from home).
- Contract: Permanent, full-time role.
- Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (DOE) plus bonus and benefits.
