Legal Personal Assistant

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a Legal Personal Assistant to join a leading law firm based in the heart of the City on a permanent, full-time basis. This firm boasts a fantastic culture, with ample scope to grow the role and broaden your skill set.
Key Responsibilities:
- Calendar Management: Provide full proactive and advanced calendar management for assigned team members, including scheduling calls and meetings, ensuring all supporting papers and information are available, and following up as needed.
- Point of Contact: Act as the first point of contact for your department, fielding calls, emails, correspondence, and meeting requests (both internally and from clients), and responding on behalf of the team when appropriate.
- Invoice Process: Assist with the invoice process, seeking authorisation and liaising with accounts to ensure prompt payment.
- Contact Management: Manage fee earner contacts and support the team with monthly billings and expenses, liaising with Accounts as required.
- Event Organisation: Organise business breakfasts, dinners, or smaller events, and assist fee earners with expenses.
- Digital Dictation: Independently lead on digital dictations.
- Client/Matter Management: Support the smooth running of the client/matter life cycle, following documented procedures, and work closely with internal client onboarding and compliance specialists to ensure all required information/documentation is obtained, issued, and correctly stored.
- Business Development: Assist the team with business development activities from an administrative perspective, including marketing materials and pitch documents.
Person Specification:
- Experience: You must have experience working in an administrative role within professional services, specifically in litigation.
- Skills: Strong organisational skills, a calm and methodical approach, and a commitment to high-quality work are essential. Strong IT skills are also a must.
- Attributes: You should take pride in your work, be proactive, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.
