Legal Recruiter

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal recruitment professional to build and lead a team, deliver on strategic recruitment initiatives, and make a meaningful impact in a dynamic and highly profitable part of the business.
About the Role:
As a Legal Recruiter, you will be instrumental in building out the recruitment function and driving its success. You will work closely with stakeholders, manage a team of recruiters, and oversee recruitment mandates to meet the firm’s evolving talent needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients to understand their future talent requirements, develop opportunities, and identify skills gaps.
- Delivering on strategic resourcing plans and monitoring the progress of assignments to ensure successful outcomes.
- Preparing fee proposals and presenting solutions to stakeholders.
- Coaching and upskilling the recruitment team to enhance their capabilities and performance.
- Managing the day-to-day operations of the team, ensuring best practices and delivering a high-touch recruitment service.
- Leading performance reviews, promoting career progression, and setting objectives in alignment with the firm’s strategic goals.
- Allocating workloads, monitoring team capacity, and ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Collaborating with the wider business on development projects to drive continuous improvement.
Person Specification:
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Have a strong background in legal recruitment, with specific experience recruiting Lawyers and Fee Earners.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of the legal industry and its dynamics.
- Demonstrate confidence in navigating the legal sector and building strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Be passionate about delivering exceptional service and developing people.
- Have excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
