Office Assistant with Front of House Duties Required - South West London | Salary: Up to £35,000
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Office Assistant with Front of House duties to join an internationally renowned interior architectural design practice based in South West London. This business works on international projects and is known within the industry for its bespoke, luxury designs. Working closely with the Studio Director and Senior Leadership team, this role is visible, varied, and highly ambassadorial within a cohesive, welcoming, and passionate team.
Responsibilities include:
- First point of contact for all visitors, including clients, suppliers, maintenance, deliveries, and post.
- Answering the company’s main line and transferring calls; passing on messages to the appropriate member of staff.
- Receiving, sorting, and distributing all mail and packages.
- Booking, tracking, and managing all domestic and international courier requests.
- Overseeing the availability of the boardroom and hosting visitors, including serving refreshments.
- Maintaining office supplies—ordering, replenishment, and auditing required stationery and equipment for the office.
- Maintaining kitchen supplies, including ordering, replenishment, and auditing required sundries and appliances.
- Ensuring safety and hygiene standards of the ground floor reception and boardroom are maintained.
- Assisting HR with onboarding and offboarding of staff (keys, access fobs, equipment).
- Assisting with the daily running of the office.
- Liaising with the facilities manager regarding general upkeep and maintenance of the building.
- Providing administrative support to the team.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' front of house and office administration experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, Excel.
- Understanding of GDPR (discretion is a must).
- High level of professionalism and courtesy.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, both written and spoken.
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage time while meeting deadlines.
- Attention to detail.
